Damaged or broken stocks and forearms can usually be repaired by a skilled professional such as Rob Ivens. Typically Rob can make the damage disappear completely using techniques honed and perfected over the last 25 years. Some repairs require a complete refinish of the wood while some are quickly and easily repaired in a matter of minutes.

Below are a series of pictures showing the repair and modification process of a stock that was 2 1/2" too short and 3/4" too low.
We added wood to make a custom stock with offset comb and 5/16” toe out. Then we completely refinished it in a dark burl wood film overlay.
